For States other than those listed above, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) has classified the Taser as a non-firearm because it uses compressed air, rather than an explosive to launch the projectiles. It can be purchased via mail/web order through reputable security companies only. Every Taser we offer has passed rigorous standards outlined by the Federal Government. These are the best available quality of all Taser's produced within the United States. Taser's produced outside the US may sell for significantly less but will also provide considerably less security and reliability. |
