Those responsible for ensuring the Biometric system is managed and operated in accordance with internal policy will be required to perform many of the following responsibilities;
• Regular examinations of the audit trails, to identify unsuccessful imposters.
• Regularly check of threshold levels to ensure the system maintains the required security levels.
• Backups of the database containing user security attributes to protect against unauthorized access.
• Entry to the portals are efficiently supervised where/when it is necessary. (i.e. Toshiba Network Camera)
Leaving nothing to chance APSI CAN CONDUCT AN IN HOUSE TRAIN THE TRAINER SESSION. It will cover, but not be limited to the following issues:
• The integrity of the registration process. (Including background checks, the documentary evidence required, & how this is checked for authenticity.)
• Enrollment procedures, logistics and general compatibility and connectivity issues.
• Determine maintenance required with the provision of system manuals.
• Contingency measures for errors and emergencies.
• Maintain a central database and backup requirements.
• Regularly check threshold levels to ensure the system maintains the required security levels. FAR of 0.01% or less.
• Backups of the database containing user security attributes are protected against unauthorized access.
• Entry to the portals are efficiently supervised or recorded where/when necessary.
• How to detect unsuccessful attempts to breach the Biometric security portal.
• Revocation methods.
• Emergency start-up/shutdown.
